2024 Summer Social Events
Memorial Day BBQ - May 27: Come on out to COPOCO to kick off the 2024 season! Go for a swim, play some tennis, and bring a picnic or partake in the potluck.
Season Kickoff Tennis Breakfast - Saturday, June 1: We will have bagels, coffee, and tennis play. Come on out, connect with other tennis members, and bring your tennis rackets for some pickup play.
New Member Orientation - Date TBD: New COPOCO Members, come out for a quick tour led by our membership chair, ask questions, and meet other new members! Also open to returning members!
School's Out Pizza Party - Thursday, June 13, After School: Come for a swim after school. Pizza and drinks will be served starting at 5pm. Pool hours: 3-8pm. Stay Tuned to RSVP!
COPOCO/Bow Brook Spring Scramble Doubles Tennis Tournament (May 18, 12-4pm) - Organized by and in support of Advantage Kids, and hosted by COPOCO and Bow Brook, this doubles scramble tournament is open to members and guests. Tennis play to be followed by refreshments and a picnic dinner. Donations en lieu of registration will benefit Advantage Kids. To participate, register here. New Member Dinner - Tuesday, June 25, 5:30pm: An occasion to welcome our new members, but all members (new and old) are welcome. Stay tuned to RSVP!
Take-out Tuesdays: While members can bring a picnic any night of the week, Tuesday evenings have become a tradition in recent years as a time for families to picnic at COPOCO and socialize, Takeout Tuesdays in July also coincide with kids’ swim lessons. So, keep your midsummer Tuesdays free for COPOCO and come on up for a swim or tennis, bring a picnic, and enjoy a meal together!
Tennis Thursdays: We’ll hold a series of after tennis social gatherings on Thursdays throughout the summer. If you are able to help lead an event, please contact Samantha Potter.
Fourth of July BBQ - Thursday, July 4th: We’ll fire up the grill and host a potluck picnic.
Tween & Teen Event - We invite our junior members to propose and arrange an event for kids ages 11 and up!
Kids’ Tennis Social - Friday, July 12 morning: A morning of tennis games and fun surrounding kids’ tennis lesson time. Stay tuned for details.
Splash Bash: An afternoon of pool and lawn games for kids.
Capital Campaign Event: An evening of food, drink, music, and revelry to benefit our Capital Campaign. We are seeking a committee to help plan and implement the event.

Annual Meeting and Dinner - Tuesday, August 13, Dinner @ 5:30pm, Meeting @ 6:30pm: The Annual Meeting is our opportunity to discuss club business and vote. We need a quorum of 25 shareholders to make this meeting official, so please plan to attend! More details to follow.
COPOCO Campout (Date TBD): Families, bring your tents and s’mores and enjoy COPOCO by night and with friends. New and experienced campers are welcome.
Swim for Sundaes (Date TBD): Kids swim their laps over the course of the summer to enjoy a sundae on the house. Details and date to follow.
Movie Night (Date TBD): Enjoy an outdoor movie in late August as the sun sets a bit earlier.
